Deadringers sound your bells so the graveyard shifts can tell that you're clawing at the roof overhead
But the claw marks that we see will be of love not misery for the air that you long such to breath

And so it goes if the story holds
This life's a dead end road but still my smile shows

A life been conquered by validity and when I'm gone I hope you'll see there was no plot just cast to be. This truth shines through humility
There was no god as I could tell and if there is I'll see you in hell cuz I lived life for you and me and not ancient philosophy
Although my art is miniscule I'll tower over worthless fools who simply say "it's in His hands" drift silently through viewing stands
There are no minor characters
My screenplay's just as good as hers
Perhaps for a different audience
In this existence there's no sense

And so it goes if the story holds
This life's a dead end road but still my smile shows
